She was born in California, completed high school in San Diego, and graduated from California State University-Fresno with a degree in Business Administration. She furthered her education at National University in La Jolla, CA, where she earned an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. She began her teaching career in the Los Angeles Unified School District at Canterbury Elementary School. In 2006, she completed her second Master’s degree, in American Studies, at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. That same year, she moved to Virginia. Mrs. Elliott is married to Brad Elliott, who is also a teacher, and has three children - two of whom proudly attend SEES. Mrs. Elliott replaces Ms. Georgette Richards, who after 26 years, will retire. As Mrs. Elliot expressed it, “I look forward to building upon Ms. Richards’s legacy as we move forward into our shining future—together.” |
