Volunteer Tour Guides Needed

The Museum of Virginia Catholic History seeks summer and special event volunteers and tour guides to welcome visitors and give tours of our Cathedral and museum exhibits. Summer volunteers open the exhibits to the public on Sunday mornings from June-September, 10:00am-1:30pm. Summer volunteers commit to one Sunday “shift” per month.

Tour guides are also needed throughout the year. Volunteers are contacted, as needed for weekday tours and special Cathedral events. Orientation sessions are scheduled after the morning Masses on Sunday, April 29 in the Cathedral Parish office dining room and on Tuesday, May 8, at 10:00am in the Cathedral’s Parish Hall. Training sessions for tour guides will be scheduled in June and July.
