RCIC

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) also includes a component for children and teens seeking preparation for and celebration of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, which manifests the intimate relation of these sacraments to one another. The primary focus of the process is the Christian initiation of the unbaptized. The Rite also provides for welcoming non-Catholics seeking full communion with the Church.

Children and Teens wishing to learn more about the Catholic faith are invited to participate in our Rite of Christian Initiation for Children/Youth (RCIC) process. The process for children/teens ages seven or older is called Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC). Participants begin the process with an orientation.  Students are placed in Sunday morning or evening religious education classes.  Supplemental classes will be schedule throughout the catechetical year.  Those who desire baptism are received into the Church at Easter Vigil.
